A male friend sent me this video of animated figures, a black man and black woman discussing or rather negotiating the woman's relationship terms. I must say as a black woman, I found some of the dialogue actually true in the regards that I have once said some of these statements or I have heard my friends say some of these statements. The video is obviously an exaggeration of how hard it is for a black woman to find the black man she wants because of her own boundaries, unreal expectations and ignorant attitude.

Check the video out below. Does that woman remind you of someone you know, perhaps yourself? or is the video offensive to you. Men, is this how you really feel?

I agree with that comment. This video made light of this situation but that's what goes on between us...to a certain extent...lol But the problem also is...from what I've experienced is...some not ALL men want a woman to be independent...when its convenient for them. They want a woman to needbthem...yet they often times don't want to be that provider. I could go on but we do need to be clear about what we want. Just not unrealistic. Some of us do expect things that are damn neat impossible at times.

This is funny, but I can see how some women would be offended. I agree with some of the things she is saying. I think there is always compromise but you should not have to settle.
