Creator's Name: Julia Kiot Kirtley Clothing Line Birth date: Sole was created out of my seeing tons of people last summer(2006) in white tank tops(wife beaters) and after I ran out of canvas, I thought this would be a great material to paint on. About Me: I am 42 years old (but 40 is the new 30 sooooo…). I am from Compton California but have been in Brooklyn for 15 years. Both places I call home. I have been painting drawing and creating all kinds of art since I was young(8/9 yrs. old) My mother used to have my sisters and I sit still while she would draw our portrait. Its true the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. My Clothes Are: My clothing is urban , chic, and very fashion forward. Each piece is a one of a kind, hand painted and will not be duplicated. These pieces are for those who love to celebrate their uniqueness and individualism. My Inspiration: I am an abstract artist. I also have an Interior Design degree from Pratt institute. I see art in everything, and I am inspired by life in general. I see something(color and design) in everything. Price Range: From $25 to $85.
