Spring time is here and summer is just as near! Are you prepared or do you need advice on how to be a trendsetter this year?

I figured what better way to find out than to ask some of the hottest up and coming designers and my closest friends what every woman needs to be the baddest chic on the block or on campus.What should you be on the lookout for and what’s “in”…

Here are 7 Beauty and Fashions and other tips that you will need to get you through this sizzlin’ season.

leather-jacket 1. Light Leather jackets and blazers keep you just as cool and comfortable on a breezy day.

2. Yes leggings are still in….but more animal prints and colorful patterns.

3. Say bye to sneakers…its ALL about sexy strapped up stilettos and gladiator sandals.

4. Babydoll and long spring dresses with bright colors and patterns are popular. You can find them anywhere from Wal-Mart to Barney's.

5. Scarves, oversized shades and purses are just the extra touch accessorize that perfect outfit

6. Light greens, yellows, lavender and mint greens are spring/summer colors that will make you stand out

7. Mineral makeup and metallic shadows/liners are in. Move towards Teals, Corals, Nudes, earthy toned color makeup.

- Be mindful of your skin tone, when choosing makeup colors. A smokey eye and pouty lip will work in any season. And remember just because it's hot outside you still have to wear clothes whether you’re outside or inside. You can be sexy without showing too much skin or overdoing it.
