I have feelings for one of my guys friends but I am afraid to let him know how I feel. I don't want it to mess up our friendship if he doesn't feel the same way about me. How can I know if he likes me in that way and what is the best approach to let him know how I feel?

I think you should invite him out one night and give him a few long island ice tea's, with NO COKE.  Gulp after gulp he will begin to unravel all of the thoughts and details you want to know, plain and simple.lol.  But seriously, I think you should tell him how you feel because it's obviously going to start affecting your relationship with him. Two things can happen. First, if you don't tell him, you may never know what your friendship could have turned into. Second, if you don't tell him, then he never has a clue.  If he doesn't have a clue and thinks you guys are just friends, he may start talking about girls in your presence and doing things that would be disrespectful, if he knew you were interested.  In that case, you wouldn't be able to blame him for something he has no knowledge about.    

If you do tell him and he likes you, then great, but if he doesn't like you in return then we will both look like jerks. Me for telling you to go for it and you for listening to me. In that case you may have to deal with just losing a friend.  But who cares you'll find another one, (LoL), its just the sacrifice you might have to make.
